Federal benefit that reduces your monthly phone or Internet bill (up to approximately $9.25/month).
π‘ New York Affordable Broadband Act (ABA)
A New York State law requiring major providers to offer a discounted broadband plan. The law establishes two tiers - $15/month for 25 Mbps minimum, and $20/month for 200 Mbps minimum.
Note: The federal Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which offered up to $30/month in discounts, is no longer accepting new applications.

- Plans can be as low as $15 per month with assistance for existing customers.
- New customers would be required to purchase a $349 satellite dish upfront.
